I’m a Florida-based foodie (originally from California), recipe creator, and health enthusiast living in the sunny Florida Panhandle near the 30A area with my wonderful husband, our sweet daughter Addie, and our three adorable kitties.
Outside of the kitchen, I have a huge passion for fitness, fashion, photography, traveling, and creating a healthier home through mindful ingredient choices and non-toxic living.

My Love for Cooking
Cooking has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, food was more than just nourishment. It was a way to show love, celebrate traditions, and connect with family.
As I got older, I developed a passion for creating healthier versions of the foods I’ve always loved. Whether it’s reinventing classic desserts or putting a nourishing twist on everyday meals, I’m all about creating food that fuels both body and soul without sacrificing flavor.
Although my college degree is in business, I took many culinary classes while I was in school because I loved cooking so much. I’ve also taken multiple cooking classes throughout the United States and Europe, which helped expand my techniques and creativity in the kitchen.
Today, I develop and test all of my recipes right here in my home kitchen.

My recipes focus on wholesome, balanced cooking made with real ingredients.

I know everyone has different goals when it comes to nutrition, so I create recipes that work for a variety of dietary needs and lifestyles.
Many people are trying to eat healthier but don’t want to give up the foods they love. My goal is to show that you can still enjoy comforting, flavorful meals while using better ingredients.
Because at the end of the day, food should still be fun, satisfying, and delicious.
How Health and Fitness Changed My Life
My passion for health and fitness started back in high school when I discovered weightlifting.
Before that, I always struggled with feeling very slim but weak and low on energy. Lifting weights helped me feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in my own skin.
Changing my lifestyle and the way I approached nutrition ended up impacting my life in ways I never expected.
I have a form of epilepsy and used to struggle with seizures. After making major changes to my lifestyle and daily habits, my seizures dramatically improved. That experience opened my eyes to just how powerful nutrition, movement, and routine can be.
It’s a big reason why I’m so passionate about helping others build habits that support their health.


My Mission
My mission with Cooking Katie Lady is to create recipes that help people build a sustainable and enjoyable way of eating.
I develop recipes for many different dietary needs because everyone’s goals are different. Some people are focused on lower carb meals, others are paying closer attention to calories, and many are looking for high-protein options to support an active lifestyle.
I personally cycle through different approaches depending on my current goals, and I know many of you do the same.
Seeing the impact that my recipes have made on my followers has truly meant the world to me. Being able to do what I love while helping others build healthier routines has been a dream come true.

Real Life Matters
I know how important it is to find meals that work for real-life schedules.
I’m a full-time working mom, and I know how busy life can get. That’s why I try to create recipes that are not only delicious, but also practical and approachable for everyday life.
My goal is to help you nourish yourself and your family with meals that feel good, taste amazing, and don’t add unnecessary stress to your day.
And of course… I still throw in a few special treat recipes here and there, because balance is key.
